AS soon as they inflated the first stent I felt better immediately

It was like waking up after Bad Dream or Sleep Walking…

 I remembered what the Cardiologist had said in the Emergency Room in Comox before he shipped me off in the Helo  to the Specialist

 I said, “I can not be having a Heart Attack Doctor, I am in the best shape of my Whole Life.

His Response was, “the only reason we are able to talk is because you are in the best shape of your Life!  You should get to survive and go home to your wife and family in a few days. Normally I would be trying to keep you alive and hoping I would be able to get you stable”

I found out that there is a condition called re-perfusion injury: when “blood flow is re-established to an organ or tissue exposed to prolonged ischaemia; renewed blood flow aggravates tissue damage either by causing additional injury or by unmasking injury sustained during the ischaemic period*”

Studies show if you have enough Glutathione in your system it can protect your heart muscle during a heart attack from this type of injury.By taking a daily Whey Protein Isolate called “Immunocal” my heart muscle was protected

Heart failure is on the increase as a result of successes in treating heart attacks and cardiac conditions. As people with damaged hearts are living longer, they become more susceptible to heart failure!
It is estimated that there are 500,000 Canadians living with heart failure and 50,000 new patients are diagnosed each year. Depending on the severity of the symptoms, heart dysfunction, age and other factors, congestive heart failure is associated with an annual mortality of between 5% and 50%.
The average annual mortality rate for congestive heart failure is 10% per year with a 50% five-year survival rate.
