Two Cars, Two Vans then Five Hours to do Three Hours Job!

It felt like groundhog day all week It has been  a bit since I Posted.

My longest break in the last four months.

Then Thursday not a Marathon Tuesday I normally share about It was a Beautiful warm day and everything was going great till I go to leave my second stop the van will not start. I jump out open the hood, only to watch steam escape then as I look around I see the problem when I look down There is no Fan Belt Explains everything. I go to Courtenay Auto ask Dan if he know’s what size belt fit the old school, small block 350 in his Dad’s Van. I had just bought, less than a month ago.

Now it is 9:30 in the morning and I am one hour behind schedule and just starting the first of two massive loads loads whole van stacked 5 bundles deep.

Wasn’t it a Party!…

Two Thirty PM I get finished all 5,200 Newspapers

It was a Long Day.

I had a Coaching call at 4 pm with Trainees must attend call.

Timing is no longer a Problem New Bluetooth I will be able to talk anytime anywhere Now

I Hoped Friday, Things would get Better?

3:50 am I go out to the Safari…    Click, Click No Power,   It does not start!

Okay up the drive I go get the new Jumper cable’s from Ange’s Trunk, walk down get out the spare keys start the Paper beast up look it is my lucky morning the two vans a are park close together and the cables reach  without moving the big Van.

Some problem the new Jumper cables from Canadian tire have a safety cover made of plastic it prevents to cable from making good con tact the van does not start. I decide I will use Ange’s Car She has Bianca’s New Honda Civic to drive because her car needs the exhaust fixed.

4:20 am - 30 minutes late, not a great start Off I go Roar!!!

The Tempest does well for 40 minutes then it stalls does not run well with no muffler when the car warms up. I call Ange we talk She says that has been happening since the last time the exhaust was fixed.  You should go get gas. I check it just above empty.

 5:20 am So I go Home move all my paper stuff over to the Paper Beast and out I go for the third, Try.

Now, over an Hour Late. In the Huge Beast that only gets about 7 miles to the Gallon… That goes well except I forget my hat and Paper elastics. I call Ange once she is Home from her route she brings me the hat and a bag of elastics and  a Fresh Black Coffee She Really Loves ME!

6:20 am Off I go 90 minutes late…

It Is Fun Driving a Big V-8 Van on Wet Roads Empty till you watch the Gas Gauge going down.

AT about 8 am

Now 45 minutes from being done boots are wet 

So Home I get fresh socks, dry boots, Move all the Paper stuff from the Paper Beast to Bianca’s New 2013 Honda Civic and off to finish the Papers I go.

9 am By The Time I am Done!!!

I have used, Two Cars and Two Vans and it has taken 5 hours to do 3 hours Work

I LOVE MY JOB!!!
